Event Details
On December 5, join a forum where engaged citizens can
collaborate with a goal of establishing new ideas, new networks, and new tools
to resolve issues that Halifax faces today and will face in the future.
ChangeCamp is intended to be action- and solutions-oriented and is non-partisan.
ChangeCamps
seek
to encourage non-partisan public participation enabled by new forms of
communication like digital media and social networking sites. Through
providing a medium that will bring together engaged citizens,
policymakers, community designers, and politicians, facilitated by web
developers and the tech community, ChangeCamp brings about the
opportunity for each of these groups to form collaborative new
relationships.
The
registration fee for the event is $10 to help cover costs. Lunch, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
